When does my warranty start after purchasing the product?
The starting time of the warranty is based on the purchase receipt or warranty card (stamp of the store is required). If there is no such proof, it would be based on the time the product was manufactured by the factory.
(1)This warranty service is a limited warranty and is only applicable to products sold by FRANDO CHE LIWU authorized dealers.
(2)To ensure your membership rights, please do not purchase products from non-FRANDO CHE LIWU authorized dealers/stores. If the product is damaged due to unknown origin and improper installation and use, FRANDO CHE LIWU will not be liable for any compensation.
(3)To protect your rights, kindly remind you that please ask the store for the user manual and warranty card, and ask the store to stamp the store seal and indicate the installation date on the back of the warranty card when purchasing a product.
(4)The color, specifications and accessories of the product are mainly based on the actual product. FRANDO CHE LIWU reserves the right to make changes.

Scope of the warranty and repair?
1.For customers who purchase FRANDO products, during the seven-day viewing period from the date of purchase, if a new product is found to be defective immediately after opening the box, we will replace it with a new one. If it exceeds seven days, it will be repaired. (If you purchase on an online shopping platform or in a physical store, please go to the original place of purchase to request defective replacement service, or ask the store where you originally purchased to contact us)
2.Each product only warrants the product cylinder, and other consumables are no longer covered by the warranty. The warranty coverage of the product is as follows
◇Caliper: Cylinder (excluding consumables, such as pistons, oil seals, screws, brake pads)
◇Master cylinder: cylinder block (excluding consumables, such as lever, pistons, oil reservoir, screws and other accessories)
◇Hydraulic clutch: cylinder block (excluding consumables, such as pistons, cylinder joints, screws and other accessories)
◇Rear master cylinder: cylinder block (excluding consumables, such as rod end bearings, oil reservoir and other accessories)3.If the product returned for repair has exceeded the warranty period, or the warranty terms are not applicable (please refer to "Non-warranty scope"), various repair and replacement services will be charged (including inspection, repair and shipping fees) and it will be sent back. Please be sure to provide the maintenance application number and properly package the item, complete with accessories, product warranty or purchase invoice, and send it back to the "Cheliwu Co., Ltd. Maintenance Department". If it is damaged during transportation, it will be regarded as artificial damage.
*If the above information is not provided, causing the maintenance personnel unable to find the item, loss or delay in repair, and Frando will not be responsible for the risk as above.
4.Inspection fees, repair fees and other expenses will be notified by phone or letter. The replacement or repair operations will proceed after Frando receives the permission from the customers. The logistics costs related to sending the goods back to Frando are borne by the customer.

Not covered by warranty?
The following situations will not be covered by the warranty:
1.The warranty period expires.
2.The product or parts are modified and the fragile label is damaged.
3.Due to improper use, unauthorized disassembly or modification, poor operating environment, improper maintenance, Product function problems caused by accidents or other reasons. (FRANDO Cheliwu has the right to determine the above situation.)
4.Damage caused by second-hand products, replicated products, parallel imports, accidents, vandalism, improper operation or modification, different specifications with the products, etc.
5.Caused by natural disasters or irresistible factors.
6.Self-modification or change of original specifications and colors will not be covered by the warranty.
7.Natural wear and tear. Such as: fading, peeling off stickers, etc.
8.The product serial number has been altered and cannot be identified.
9.Consumable accessories are not covered by the warranty.
10.Products that have been determined by Frando to be non-defective and abnormal.
11.The surface of the body may be corroded or paint peeled off due to external environmental factors such as collision and friction.
12.Consumable wear of parts, material fatigue and deformation or cracking of parts after use.
13.The color of the product body fades due to poor storage conditions or long-term use, and the natural fading of metal surfaces or plastic parts.
14.Incidental expenses incurred due to product breakdown.

Completion time?
After receiving the product to be repaired, FRANDO's maintenance department will arrange a repair time of approximately 5-10 days (excluding holidays and delivery time) based on the product problem and repair parts availability, and notify the customer after the repair process is completed. You can also Inquire about the repair progress through the official fan page "Frando Taiwan". When enquiring, please provide the name of the person who sent the repair and the repair item (product serial number) to facilitate the inquiry.

All of our pistons are made from aluminum alloy.

Do Frando calipers consist of dust seals and oil seals?
All our current products only consist of oil seals and do not have dust seal specifications.

What are the specifications of the master cylinder mirror holder?
All Frando’s master cylinder mirror holder specifications are M10 right-handed screws.

My caliper’s pistons are not moving properly.
This problem happens normally because of lack of proper maintenance or improper installation. Please contact your nearest Frando dealer for proper maintenance.

Which type of brake pad should I buy to obtain a cicada sound when applying brake?
The sound is not only based on the brake pad. It will depend on the disc material and disc design as well.

Do calipers/master cylinders need maintenance? How often should I ask for maintenance?
Of course these products need maintenance. Periodically maintenance time will vary based on usage habits and environment.

Master cylinder movement pivots and joint parts need maintenance?
You must periodically lubricate those areas and parts for optimal product performance.

Can Frando master cylinders use other oil reservoir brands?
If the fixing point is the same as the hose on the master cylinder it can be installed.

Can you use other brand caps on Frando’s oil reservoirs?
Because the pitch specifications are not necessarily compatible, if the fixing method matches the pitch specifications of other brands of oil reservoir caps, it can be installed.

Can the calipers be replaced with other brands of repair kits?
Since there are many specifications and they may not match, it is recommended to use the original caliper repair kit.

How often do I need to replace the brake pads?
It is recommended to check with professional mechanics regularly. For instance, if the safety groove in the middle is worn out or the back plate (iron sheet) is rusted or peeling, it should be replaced with a new one.

How long does it take for brake fluid to be replaced?
The main purpose of replacing brake oil is to eliminate water content. The replacement time depends on your living and the environment.
In humid areas, it is recommended to replace it every six months. If it is used in dry environments, the replacement time can be extended to two years.

How long do brake discs last?
Each type of disc has a different minimum safety thickness. If it is close to the minimum safety thickness, the surface is uneven, or the gap of the floating disc is too large, it is recommended to replace it.

What should I do if I lose my warranty card?
Please keep the warranty card properly. If you lose it, it will not be reissued. If you purchase and install it from a physical store, please remember to ask the store for a warranty card and ask the store to stamp it and indicate the installation date.

Why can’t my motorcycle brake properly?
This might be because your braking system does not have enough braking force, the braking force is insufficient. For safety, it is recommended to go to a professional mechanic for inspection as soon as possible.
(1) There might be oil stains in the brake discs/ rotors.
(2) The friction coefficient of the brake pad material is too low.
(3)Master Cylinder and Caliper ratio might affect.
(4) If the moisture content is too high in the brake oil, the moisture will produce bubbles at high temperatures, causing exert pressure. -

Why is there a strange sound when braking instead of a cicada sound?
(1)There may be dirt on the disc or the brake pads, and the abnormal sound may be caused by friction.
(2)Disc surface deformation causes linear friction.
(3)Check whether the brake system parts are loose, causing shaking and impact.
